I app**** to Vox Telecom for my fiberline to be connected at the beginning of December. On the 4th of January I contacted them to find out when it would be connected as the fibre line and hardware were already there. I was told they would get back to me. After numerous 3 emails and 5 telephone calls and having spoken to different members of their staff I still received no reply. I was requested to take a picture of the equipment to verify that all the necessary equipment was there and to email this to them, Which I did. by the 26th January I had still not received a reply. I then approached another service provider to connect my internet. On the 28th January I received an email from Vox Telecom telling me that the line had not been cancelled and that was the reason why they could not connect me. I advised them to cancel my contract as I had had no response from them for 4 weeks. Unfortunately, the new service provider could not get a proper response from Forgfoot, who own the finer line and in turn are owned by Vox Telecom. It is now 8 weeks since my initial contact with Vox Telecom and there other company Forgfoot and I still do not have a connection. They do not appear to be able to offer any kind of service and seem to be totally inept in what they do. I do not know if it is the quality of the staff they employ or the ethos of the management in charge of running the two companies. All I can say is if you can use anyone else, stay clear of Vox Telecom as they seem to be unable to give any kind of service. That is the problem with the system, it does not give any options to try and find an opposing company that can give one a better service. This gives the large companies total control and allows them to become inefficient without consequence.
