***** DEDUCTION OF MONEY WITHOUT PERMISSION

As of 1st June I've been trying cancel my month to month LTE contract with Vox. On the 9th June I received a response from Miss Lizz Liebenberg stating she will log my cancellation and there is a R300 including VAT due to a collection fee of the router. 23rd June I emailed Vox/Lizz when will be my last billing, what date services will be deactivated and when will the router be fetched. 24th June I emailed again requesting for an acknowledgment to my email because all I've been getting is read receipts. 25th June sent another email sadly no response. 29th June still no response. 30th June I received an email from the cancellations department stating they will be charging me R260 for the router rental ABOVE my R795.99 monthly fee which included the monthly router rental. I asked the question why when I was paying every month. All I got was a read receipt. Further to this I then send another email asking the following Furthermore, this letter does not provide me with the following: 1.Collection date of the router 2.Actual service termination date (I really would hate to wake up 1 morning for work and not have services) 3.Was the June invoice the last invoice Till date 6/7/2021 I have not had any response from the 1000s of employees at Vox. 2nd July I was debited with R1020 without being notified nor response to my questions. ALL I GET IS READ RECEIPTS AND SILENCE. I'm thinking do I sue Vox for deducting money I never gave them permission to deduct, would they even bother if they get sued because it is ***** to deduct from someones bank account without being notified. Very concerning and *********. I wonder whether someone will have this resolved on this platform. I want answers.

This system automated response is not good enough for me, considering all my ignored emails to the VOX team. I should not be receiving a response because I came onto this platform.

Please note that all of these charges are stipulated on the terms and conditions of the service which you have accepted when you did the e-acceptance. These charges are correct and valid as per the below terms and conditions; 8. Cancellation Terms 8.1. Customer must give one clear calendar month notice of his/ her intention to cancel the service. Once clear calendar month means that any cancellation received before the first day of a month will take effect on the last day of the following month. Therefore, if a cancellation is received on the first day of a month, the cancellation will only be effective on the last day of the following month. 8.2. Cancellations must be processed via the Vox Customer Zone or sent to Vox in writing to ***. 8.3. If a cancellation in terms of clause 8.1 above results in the termination of service prior to the expiration date of a fixed term agreement, then Vox shall be entitled to levy a reasonable termination fee, including any penalty fees which the Upstream Service Provider may levy to Vox. 8.4. Any subscription which includes a Router rental will be subject to an administration fee upon termination of the subscription. 8.5. Cancellation of a Router rental subscription will automatically initiate the process of collecting the Router and the administration fee will be billed to the subscriber account. 8.6. If a Customer terminates a service prior to it being activated by Vox or prevents Vox from activating the service after it has been ordered, then the Customer shall be liable to Vox for any installation and other charges that it is liable to pay the MNO. SO, in essence Shaun is basically giving me the middle finger along with these "contractual" phrases which I've never seen before. I'm still left hanging from a middle finger. Wow. Thanks Shaun for taking time out of your busy day to respond to me. Makes me to regret even more why I ever took out a contract with VOX and why I will never ever do it again.
