First month free with Vox became later month free and now cancellation fees??
I wish I had read through these reviews before taking the Vox connection. Vox was new in town and offered one month free, however we were billed for that first month anyway since the connection took so long that it was installed near the end of that month. After enquiring from the sales agents we were told that there was some miscommunication and that they'll be giving everyone who went through the same thing the month of December for free. I told my husband not to trust them. Lo and behold we've been billed every month and ended up paying anyway. I've been waiting for the free month and ended up paying late because our services were suspended. The call centre could also not find any record of this promised free month. Now they've decided to cancel our month to month contract on the 28th of Jan when we paid our account to get it up to date on the 27th. As of today our account is now in arrears with the monthly installment plus cancellation fees of R1750. Why make promises you can't keep, just to get clients to sign up, and then decide to cancel our contract anyway?? Is this just an Oudtshoorn problem or is this a common Vox Telecom ****? Is this why almost all your sales people in Oudtshoorn left? Because they were faced with all the unhappy and cheated customers? And how do you not inform a customer before deciding to cancel their contract?
