Extremely poor service - Vox Telecoms or Frogfoot Fibre

I joined Vox Telecoms in August/September 2023, when I relocated to Johannesburg from Potchefstroom. For the first almost two weeks I had no service due to certain technical issues with the actual fibre line, and then the router which for some or other reason was not on the premises.

From the onset after installation of the Router we had problems with poor signal, device connectivity and poor signal strength in and around the house. We almost always had to be on 2.4G as opposed to 5G. We could barely stream a rugby match or a movie.

In the complex where I reside, in Bonaero/Kemptop/Brentwood Park, there are almost daily complaints about signal interruptions and the internet being down. I have received innumerable emails from Vox/Frogfoot in relation to Connectivity issues.

After reaching the end of my tether I decided to cancel my contract at the end of April, with May serving as a notice month. I cited the abovementioned problems to them. I was then notified that I would be entitled to cancel, but that I would have to pay a R1750 'claw-back' penalty for the premature cancellation. A cancellation which is caused by the worst and most unstable fibre connection in the history of mankind. What is best, is that while they were sending me the 'not final invoices as additional invoice items may be added' to the R1750 premature cancellation penalty, I received ANOTHER email from Vox advising that there were disruptions to the line! And, whilst typing this review, I received ANOTHER sms to say that there are connectivity issues, which I am currently experiencing...

This is truly shocking.
