Extremely disappointed with Vox Customer Service.
At first when I reached out to Vox to subscribe to FTTH, they were fast and professional, they kept me up to date with every single step towards installing the fiber in my home. Unfortunately, the owners where I rented sold the house and I had to move! So, I phoned Vox and asked them what the next steps would be to relocate my fiber line - obviously you cant relocate the fiber line, but you can install a new line in the new house but have to cancel the current line - so I did just that! Now, here is where thinks took a toll. Firstly, they cancelled my whole package including my extras I had - which I did not request for, and they sent me this huge bill after they advised that I would only pay a cancellation fee of R2500. I started phoning them to help them fix the error on my account. I JUST WANTED TO CANCEL THE FIBER LINE AND INSTALL A NEW ONE AT MY NEW HOME! So I spoke to Thabo the first time around seeing that he's the one handling the cancellation. He dropped the phone in my ear while I was explaining to him my dilemma. I then went to the Krugersdorp branch where they advised me that my contract is with head office and they cannot help me but they will provide head office with my details and ask them to give me a call - I haven't received a call by the way! The I received some emails from Jay-Dene Morris stating that they've encountered a problem, preventing them from placing my order - VOX***5-T1 and that a service consultant will be in contact with me, thereafter I received another email form Jay-Dene telling me that Evotel is not live on our premise and that my order is now on hold, she asked if I would like for an account manager to requote me on a service that is live on my premise or whether i would like to wait until Evotel does go live on which i rep**** that they can requote me on another service that is live on my premise. I never received any feedback! (FYI - I've seen a big sign at the entrance of our complex gate that Evotel is very much live there) So I decided to phone in again 22-03-2022 - I again spoke to Thabo - I explained my dilemma to him once again and he advised that he will sort the problem out and phone me back. I have not received a phone call from him. With much patience, I phoned in again 24-03-2022 and spoke to Lerato who transferred me to Thabo - who conveniently did not answer his phone. I then phoned in once again and spoke to a more professional lady who I also explained my dilemma to and requested for a manager to phone me back, she took my details and assured me that a manager will phone me back the same day - and much to my disappointment I still have not received a call. Can you please fix my cancellation - I DO NOT WANT TO CANCEL EVERYTHING ON MY ACCOUNT JUST THE PREVIOUS INSTALLED FIBER LINE AND I PLEASE NEED AN NEW LINE AT MY NEW HOME! Can you please contact me with a solution to the matter? Thank you in advance!
