EUTELSAT on the Farm - DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO WORK VIA VPN!!!!!

Worst experience of my life! I had WiFi in town via Vox Telecom without any issues. I moved to a farm just outside of Nylstroom and was told that Eutelsat will work for me. It will let me work via VPN without any issues. First of all, I have placed my order in mid-February this year and after enormous fights with Vox, they eventually installed the Eutelsat during the 1st week of April 2022. The engineer who installed the product also was very sceptical about me working via VPN using EUTELSAT! I did not believe him, and showed him the e-mail from Ziyad Cajee, who told me in the e-mail the following: "Hi Mara, We truly appreciate you as a loyal customer. The VPN is a virtual private network created to secure your information while logging into your work remotely. Having a 30Mbps Eutelsat will definitely not be an issue for you in terms of speed issues and connectivity. I sincerely apologise for the delay with regards to delivery of services. Kind Regards, Ziyad Cajee Project Manager - Business Partners at Vox". I till today, did not once had the opportunity to work via VPN using the EUTELSAT! I had to run around and buy a big Huawei Rooter plus a sim card from Vodacom to purchase data in order for me to be able to work on VPN connection. This is costing me a fortune. I have logged numerous calls with Vox, but to no avail! No one return your calls or you just simply do not get any assistance. I am NOT HAPPY WITH VOX! How do I get rid of this? I am now paying for two service providers, one which is excellent (Vodacom) and the other which is PATHETIC, VoxTelecom! I am the bread winner and cannot afford to pay for a service that does not work!!! I want feedback and assistance from Vox. Teneal of Vox who introduced me to the Eutelsat, I would also like to get some answers from you. Mara

Good day Mara J

Thank you for your patience whilst this matter was being investigated.

We also received feedback from the Sales management that they have made contact with you regards to the complaint logged.

Unfortunately VPN is not supported as per service agreement:

2.21 The Eutelsat service is a broadband best effort service provided over satellite with latency around 720ms which means that it might be not suitable for use of latency sensitive services, that may time out.
2.22 The Quality of Service for voice services is on a best effort basis if the Subscriber has not subscribed for a Eutelsat Service plan approved by the Supplier for voice services. Voice services on Eutelsat Satellite are only optimized over the Vox network
2.23 The Eutelsat service does not support Virtual Private Network applications, the customers must fami****ize itself about the implications and take full responsibility for that.
2.24 Static IP addresses are available at additional cost to the customers.
