Don't sign up with vox!!

We signed up for a month to month contract in June 2019 through Frogfoot, there was a promotion where installation is free - we did not ask for it so that was great. We took the month to month as there is always less hassle if you have to move and cancel etc. Now that we have to cancel we are advised we have to pay a penalty fee, first it was confirmed telephonically that the fee is R1500 but now that I am asking confirmation via email it is said that it is R1750, the amount given over the phone is VAT exclusive but not advised thereof. Firstly, false advertising. Month to month but you are obligated to have a year month to month contracts in order not to pay penalty which is the installation amount which was given for FREE. Secondly wrong information provided telephonically - if I have made sure only the fibre fee and panalty fee of R1500 as confirmed telephonically is in my account in the debit date I would have had to sit with the problem of a bad credit score as your staff doesn't advise that it is actually a VAT exclusive amount that they are giving. Termination fee amount is not specified in the terms and conditions nor in the contract.

Read other complaints with the same issue. Definitely not recommending you guys to anyone especially with the issues we experienced where internet was down for hours at a time due to issues you guys have with Frogfoot!
