DONT RENT FROM THEM !
In 2020, I entered into a 36-month contract to rent to own an Xbox S Series. I settled the full amount in 2021. However, two years later, I noticed a debit from my account. Despite reaching out through various channels, only social media platforms have escalated my concerns.
Today, I received a call instructing me to pay R450 monthly to own the Xbox, even though I settled the amount in 2021. They mentioned that continuous payments are required for ownership, or I can cancel the contract, and they will retrieve the Xbox.
This seems perplexing to me. I've already settled the amount in 2021, and now I'm being asked to continue monthly payments. Can you please provide clarification on this matter?
