DO NOT USE THIS INTERNET COMPANY!!!

I don’t even know if reviewing these people will make anything better, but be careful of this company, they are money hungry and nobody that works there actually knows what’s happening.

In 2022 I moved from 1 apartment to another, unbeknownst to me, I needed to get a new router, I took my old router to my new house, tried to use it and ofcourse it did not work, I eventually got into contact with Vox and they sent consultants to my house to fix the issue, I don’t know what they did I was just happy to have my internet back up and running again. Now according to Vox policy, they will come and fetch your old router and provide you with a new router for the new premises.

Now in 2024, I move again, now I know the procedure this time around, I cancel my contract I let them know I am moving and I give my new address. BEFORE I even moved into my new home they had already delivered my new router and I was informed that they will come and collect the old router, all good. They never collected the router, instead they told me that they tried to contact me and nobody was home for them to collect( I work from home I am ALWAYS at home so I know they lying this is what they do). I eventually get told I need to send the old router back(remember the 2022 router). I send It back at my expense, they gave the wrong address the courier company contacted me to let me know that the address given is incorrect, I call Vox again to ask for the correct address, I get it. They get the router, I get an email from them stating that I owe them R2000 for a router that they cannot find as the router that I apparently sent back is not the correct one and they don’t know where it comes from, the router they are looking for is from 2022, they are only realising in 2024 that they don’t have the router, and neither do I. I tried fighting them but they told me there’s nothing I can do I just have to pay this R2000 or else they switching my internet off(imagine that you pay for internet every month but it gets put off).

I eventually got hold of an accounts manager, who I explained the situation to, and she told me that they don’t know where the router is and that’s that, I have to cough up this R2000 for this router, I agreed to a payment plan however I asked them to investigate where the router is as I don’t have it and it’s a router from 2022 it’s 2 years later now.

I have been ignored by this company, I call the accounts manager Aloyisa(however you say her name), she had told me that her manager will contact me, it’s been 2 weeks and no manager, I’m paying double for internet for the next 2 months because THIS company does not know how to do due diligence, they have way too many consultants who do not know how to do their jobs, nobody knows what’s going on, pathetic I tell you.

So beware everyone before you decide to choose this company as your service provider they know we unfortunately need them so they don’t care but if I can expose their ill practices I will.
