Disappointed beyond words.

I was a Vox customer for 2 years, but cancelled it in December 2022 as our internet keeps on dropping. I have sent numerous emails asking for it to be resolved, but nobody responded. When I cancelled it, nobody phoned me, or emailed me and the internet was never put off. On the 1st of February 2023, our internet went down again. We waited a few hours, but when it did not go on again, I phoned Vox to hear what is going on. I was informed that it was due to the cancellation I logged in Dec22. I was glad to hear that they do attend to queries eventually, so I wanted to reinstate the line. I was told that I can do it on the App, which I did. The App does not make you choose a new line, or reinstatement, so immediately after the submission, I emailed Vox to say it is a reinstatement and not a new contract. I phoned them for 8 days following up on the reinstatement, sent emails and did webchats, but with not vail. I was told that it takes 72hours for line reactivations, but nothing was happening and you cannot speak to anybody that is working with the reinstatement. Even if you get the "Team Leaders" email address, it is useless as they keep on telling you that they are working on it, but when you phone the call centre, they tell you a different story. I was forced to cancel the reinstatement on the 6th of February 2023 as we needed internet and could not wait any longer for their response. They could not give me a clear ETA, so I could not wait any longer for them. After a big fight, they processed the cancellation so that the new service provider (Webafrica did it in 2 days) can give us internet. On the 21st of February 2023 (15 days after the cancellation), I received an invoice @ R2,750 for "cancelling the service within 12 months". I immediately sent an email asking for what service as NO service was provided to me. The following nonsense were their response : "We understand that the connectivity performance let you down, and for that we are very sorry. There is, however, no SLA's (Service Level Agreement) agreed or signed between VOX and Customers with regards to Resolution timeframes of downtimes or intermittency issues. We adhere to providing the best effort service and 24 hour technical support in the event of loss of connectivity.

We understand your disappointment, and apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. However as per the Ts and Cs agreement ; we remain firm on the above and regret that we cannot issue compensation as requested." What company does not want to take responsibility for not providing a service and being pathetic? ANY decent company would have admitted that their employees are *********** and will take it up internally and not let their customers pay for getting GATVOL for their incompetence. I am VERY disappointed in a company I was a client with for 2 years and this was how they handled it. I will take it up with ICASA as I am not willing to pay for another companies' lack of employing competent staff.

From my previous experience with you, no response will be received unfortunately. I have no hope for Vox due to the service they are providing due to many disappointments I have experienced from you. I already logged a complaint with Icasa. I hope something will be done now.
