Dis-functional engagement, *********** call center and pathetic management conduct

We recently moved to Florida Hills and was happy to hear that they had FTTH. Went onto the net and saw that Vox had a nice package deal which included installation, router and a nice 100/100mbs month to month package for R1210. A sales consultant Tiyani contacted me and made arrangements to process my order to get Vuma Tel to come and do the installation on the day we would move in. From here it went downhill! I tried to move the installation date and Tyani said he would get back to me to confirm, did not hear a peep from him even after sending numerous emails. I then tried to phone him, only to have spend literally without a joke hrs on the phone being bounced around from one place to the next until I was give his managers contact details. Mr Pitzer said he would sort everything out and I requested feedback, nothing happened no feedback not even a return phone call for an update. I spent numerous days on the phone trying to get someone to help only to be passed from piller to post and was told that I needed to speak to a project planner. The comment from the call center agent was "But good luck with that, that's if they answer their phones" could not believe what I was hearing, but at least he was honest as that is exactly what happened. Phone each day, piller to post and eventually got through to a lady and she got the installation date sorted. Vuma arrived on the day and did the installation without a hitch "Vuma = great service". From there further down hill. Again numerous calls to Vox with no joy, pillar to post, dropped calls, *********** agents. As it eventually transpired Vox did not create the account so it could not go to Vuma to provision. Vuma had to manually send a request to vox to sort out. More Vuma calls, more drops, more incompetence. More speaking to Vuma to try and get them to help. More escelation from Vuma. Account created, tech guys could not come out to deliver a router. Bought my own. inserted account. Did not work. More calls more incompetence, some or other activation was not done. Router was delivered mid Jan...Internet up, internet down. Logged 3-4 incidents as connection drops and could not reconnect. Was told that my ip was issued multiple times. Each time I have to power the network devices off and leave for 15min whilst kids are screaming and moaning in the background. Up down up down line interference. Finally yesterday line was stabilized but ip conflict lame excuse still existing. To add a cherry to the top I get a bill for half dec, Jan and Feb for which no one explained that they do up front billing - this after the worst month of anyone life - Dec/Jan. But here's the kicker, you want to cancel...you first have to get bounced around for 10min by the PABX's hunting for lines, a transfer or two, a dropped call or 3 and then you have to pay back the installation fee and the router due to early cancellation, so guess what...your stuck with a shoddy company until that claw-back clause falls away in a year or so... So what ever you do, HEAR WHAT I AM TELLING U, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING WITH VOX.
