Deception and Theft for Over a Year; No Integrity

I joined Vox Telecom back in February 2015 after getting 1TB of free data as part of a Samsung TV purchase. The service we encountered was sterling and a pleasure to deal with Vox on technical issues that arose. However, this means nothing for the absolutely disgusting literal theft and deceptiopn they committed against a loyal customer.

Back in May 2017, I noticed that their website reflected their 4Mbp/s uncapped package (which we had been on since we joined in 2015) at R459 per month. I checked the most recent statement I received, and saw that I was paying R599 per month. I realised we were overpaying as they had updated their package offerings and never notified me.

I called their customer service to query (a) why this was happening, and (b) how long had this been going on. Turns out, this had been the case for over a year, and as far as they're concerned, this is just my tough luck. Over R1680 in payments I was billed for and paid, and nobody at Vox saw fit to inform me of the changes in my package. They refused to reimburse me, and this translates to blatant deception and theft.

I would appreciate their rectifying this, but apparently they don't care. Furthermore, Afrihost and Crystal Web have even cheaper packages of the same type without the 200GB throttling that Vox enforces. When fibre becomes available, we'll be using their contract free options as well, not Vox's locking in of 12-24 months.

This was the outcome of a conversation BEFORE this complaint was filed, when it became apparent Vox was not willing to apologise or reimburse. Feedback was promised in this conversation for the following day, yet this didn't materialise. There was only a followup for a line fault logged prior to all this.
As it stands, Vox has done nothing new since we started conversing here.
