Cruel

I am very disappointed with Vox. Last year in October 2020, my Account Number *** I requested for Vox services. I needed internet and a telephone line for my business. They provided me with the *** for the phone number, a super phone and a router which come with a Telkom Sim card. This was supposed to be used at warehouse in Johannesburg CBD.

We connected everything ourselves and then contacted the customer service service for help. Nothing worked. The technician advised that the Sim card was faulty and sent another Sim card which did not work as well. Then they sent another replacement Sim card which also didn't work. The internet. Wasn't working. The technician advised that Telkom internet net work was bad in Johannesburg CBD and he then advised me to cancel the service for internet of which I did.

Then they advised me that they had find a solution for to get wireless solution of which I accepted. But that wireless solution was very expensive. And at the warehouse I only have two people. The cost was +-R2500, and the first service I requested was R600. When I got a call to make arrangements to have the wireless internet installed, I complained to the person who called me about the bad service I got from the Technicians. I told him that since October 2020 my telephone line wasn't working because of no internet. That was on 1st December 2020, he advised me that he can connect my line on the VOBI App. And I did the setup on my cell phone and from 1st December 2020, the line started working using my cell phone data. I told Vox that since the reason I wanted the line was to communicate with my clients and am able to communicate using the line on my phone there is no need of having the wireless internet at the warehouse and I canceled the order. They charged me R1500 cancelation fee like it was my fault.

Then they were charging me for The internet, telephone line and setup fee for October and November 2020 for the service which wasn't working. My argument is that how can they charge me for October and November when they router they sent me could not provide internet service and the telephone wasn't working. I requested that they credit me for November and October, of which they didn't. I started paying from December because that's when the number started working. But they never wanted to help me. They took advantage of the fact that I had used their telephone line for Branding. And I had no way out. So in February 2021 I advised them to cancel everything because I was getting nowhere with them crediting me and charging me for the internet which didn't work. The network use to connect and disconnect. After all this I told them that I need a payment plan with them... They never gave me any payment plan instead they sent me a letter of Demandvto pay R3000. I queried this, I said how ca9 they send me a letter of demand while we are discussing this. Then the other day they sent statement stating that am owing R5000. I have sent an email to question it no reply.

I feel they didn't not hand my issue well. And because am a small business they didn't care if I left or not. They cut the Telephone line while I was still discussing with them. Am sure if I was a big business they would have find a solution for me to keep my telephone line. And they would have credit me. They know very well that I needed the telephone line because my clients have the line. They can't get hold of me. And it's going to cost me more more money to update the branding and web site. I need some one who can help me with this. Because I need my Vox Telephone number.
