Charging cancellation fee yet only moving premises!
I have been a customer with vox since dec 2024. Iam now moving and they have told me i cant move the line or pay a moving fee, i would have to CANCEL the contract and order a new one. Then within minutes someone called ordered the line via phone send the quote and i excepted. ONLY AFTER i excepted i get another email that iam being charged R850 cancellation fee. The funny part is iam remaining a customer and same package yet they still charging me an cancellation fee!! Then i cancelled yesterday the new package due to the unauthorised charge. Yet they still went today after my cancellation email was send they processed the new order!! this is rediculous!

30 Jul 2025, 21:14No use your manager called. The point is iam being charged a CANCELLATION FEE and not a moving fee! So with that please cancel any dealings with your company as this is uncalled for. I will find a honest service provider and report this to the ombutsman. Thank you

As per the Subscriber Agreement, Vox waivers the Set Up and Configuration/ Installation Fees upon signup on the condition that the Service remains active for a minimum period of 12 months.
The element of the Service that is comprised of the provision of the Circuit is provided to the specific address set out in the Subscriber Agreement with a Circuit leased by Vox from a network operator. Accordingly, the provision of the Circuit is not transferrable to another premises.
Notwithstanding that the cancellation is necessitated by relocation, Vox needs to recover such costs associated with such cancellation.
