Charged for 3 routers when I only have 1
I had a Vox R1250 fibre package installed at my old house. I moved houses and requested cancellation for my Fibre and new installation at my new house. I called in to check if it's possible for me to cancel the cancellation, and was advised I can, so I cancelled the cancellation because I was moving a bit later on. And to my knowledge, the cancellation was cancelled. But I still had people coming to my new house to install the fibre line.
So I figured the cancellation I initially logged had been processed. So I left it and didn't make noise about it. But I kept on getting calls telling me that guys are coming to install, and I kept on saying that the router has been delivered and installed, it just needed to be activated.
The line eventually got activated, and a month later I checked my bill was R5000. I didn't understand why, but I was prepared to settle the R5000 bill. I got a statement a few days I get a statement saying I owe over R8000. I called in to enquire, a lady whose name I forgot advised me that I was charged because the system shows that I have 3 Vox routers. Which shocked me because I only have 1 router. And now month to month the bill goes up as if I have internet, and I haven't had internet for months now. Now my bill is over R13 000 and for the life of me I don't understand why, and no one is giving me a straight answer on what's happening. And honestly I'm struggling with internet but I have this ever growing bill as if my internet is active.
