Cancelling with voxtelecom pathetic

Vox is literally the worst ISP iv dealt with i signed up on a month to month fibre package , this means when cancelling i dont need to pay cancellation fees, i get told that no it was a sub contract and that i have to pay 2700 when i cancel.
