Beware of Vox

I just want to let the public know that they should be wary when dealing with this service provider. I joined the service in June 2023. My contract was for fibre on a month to month basis. Please also note that i had an existing line and it was only to transfer to a new ISP. At the end of the contract they informed me that I am liable to pay an amount of R2733 for setup fees. What setup fees as there was no setup or installation done on my property by Vumatel. I had already had an existing fibrre line. They then informed me that they are reducing it to plus minus R1000. Anyway I refuse to accept this amount. Then they informed me that vumatel charged them a fee to activate my line so I asked for proof which I am still awaiting. Please beware of this company they are a bunch of ****** and waiting to ***** money from consumers. I will be referring this matter to the consumer council but it is currently being mediated by the ISPA. I am just waiting for this mediation to conclude and if they still insist on me paying this R1000 then I will report this matter to the consumer council.
