Atrocious service

Want to receive atrocious service? Then sign up with Vox Telecom. From the beginning this was a bad experience. It took 3 attempts for the sales executive to get the quote right. Finally it got done and we signed up for Wifi with a telephone line. The quote for this was just over R1000 per month, with free unlimited calls in SA and free installation. There was no stock on the phone handsets, and when they arrived we had to spend an hour on the phone with them to get it set up, far be it from them to send a technician. In addition, this set up involved being online, and we have very bad reception in our area THAT IS WHY WE GOT FIBRE TO BEGIN WITH. This was abut 3 months ago. Since then we have been drastically overcharged, way in excess of the quote, with no explanation. We have been cut off several times for alleged non payment. We were cut off again on Monday for non payment of an outstanding fee of R600 which we were supposed to pay at the time of the installation, and no one can/will tell us what that is for, and no one told us at the time that this needs to be paid. My wife had arranged a meeting with them for Tuesday morning to resolve these issues and we requested to have itemised bills ready for the meeting so we can see what we are actually paying for. firstly, the person she was supposed to see was nowhere to be found, and so far no itemised billing has been forthcoming, again without any explanation. At the meeting yesterday the agreement was that the R600 will be paid, and in the meantime we would be reconnected. We are still waiting for the reconnection, and when we called about it yesterday afternoon no explanation was given. These people obviously have something to hide, and I can only warn about signing up with them. I have sold my house since the installation, and the conditions of the sales agreement with VOX are that I must pay for the installation if I cancel the contract within the first year. WELL GUESS WHAT VOX TELECOM, THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
