Abysmal VOX Support and Business Ethics

Dear Support;

With reference to my support ticket number: VOX **********

Please also refer directly to Vox Telecom Billing; Tech Support; Sales and other relevant Associates (as listed below) that are aware and also apparently been working exhaustively with my account:

- Marlene van Heerden - Madelein Oosthuizen - Boitumelo Mothoa - Leandro Du Toit - Rafiek Abrams - Russell Barnes - Ellenese Schubert - Tairin Du Pont - Cheslyn - Joshua Lucas

There does not seem to be anyone whom is willing to assist and resolve credits that are owed to myself in excess of R10000 by VoX Telecom.

Despite the many assurances and promises given (over what is now an extended period of time - almost two years) I am still patiently waiting to have FINAL resolution with payments credited to my credit card.

The full details of my case of which - has been explained MANY TIMES and is extremely "well documented" (alog with all necessary supporting data) - compiled from a number of related entities (ie: tech support/Billling/copies of all correspondence/Speed TEST information/etc) pertaining to this issue... and for your observation should be contained within the Vox Online Support environenviront (Ticket: VOX ********** ).

I'm now at a compete witts end (despite my more than REASONABLE patience) as to whom to approach at Vox to actually get ACTUAL FINAL RESOLUTION once and for all.

The entire subject is related to the fact that even though I am a premium paying, contractual subscriber to Vox's 1GB FTTH (Octotel Fibre) high speed (*?!) Internet service OWNING and personally UPGRADING all the necessary equipment (in theory) to utalise connectivity of this type and speed >> for many months (since account inception, to date) never missing a payment - TOP RAND for the 1GB service - (more often than not) am only getting the 100MBps service.

From a tech support point of view, VoX is and has alawys been clearly aware of the many issues experienced with the service, (even prescribing managers and senior tech staff) yet still have some excuse and a reason to first investigate the case. STILL HAVE FAILED to credit my account for non/ lesser service. Instead giving me a huge run around and being passed on to yet another individual whom can best assist me.

I wass even advised that w hilst the support research and investigation was ongoing, it was not VOX Company procedure to make ANY past/present/future adjustments to my account.

"Could not change future billed amounts until closure of the support ticket".

Well the research went on for months. Finally the speed was resolved, and I was finally pleased to report speeds close to the 800-900MBps mark >>>> well DOMESTICALLY at least . Furthermore despite VoX informing me that they had of course the International Speed Capacity and Capability linked to their European contingent - would clearly be able to offer me equivalent speeds INTERNATIONALLY.

Well never have I ever realized any speed over 150MB overseas (as on one occasion) when testing against the VoX 1.5GBps capable test servers in the UK .

****Generally speeds hover around 70MBps for downloads - all whilst UPLOADs DOMESTICALLY remain reasonably static @ 25MBps.

The speed of the so-called 1GB connection with VoX has never been constant and several times I have had to call support because my connection was apparently reset to 100MB. Its a sad state of affairs when you have a fibre conection of this callibre that ocassionally battles to stream a a YouTube video @300k!

I don't know if the powers that be think I am technically inept or just plain stupid - and DO not constantly check my throughput. But I actually emoy a third party to do this constantly 24/7 - the range of results over time will astound you!!

But hey we are at the end of Africa and far away from the REAL internet!!! (Even though we have huge capacity undersea cables that have yet to utalize a fraction of their bandwidth capacity.

I smell a little business story telling, cost cutting and wool pulling over the public by the end user ISPs.

Last night (27 March 2018) I again tested my speed from a singly connected/isolated wired Desktop PC and blow me down if I'm not experiencing a fixed down speed of 100MBps YET again!

As far as I am aware VoX/Octotel must now actually be quietly dropping high speed users from time to time. Who knows - I have no speciufic insight of the internal workings of their planned procedures. But can only wonder, as my own environment remains still unchanged with the same capabilities

Naturally - I dont know, but can only imagine (based on my own experience) that a number of PREMIUM 1GB clients - whom do not necessarily pay close attention to the quality of their connection >> are happily paying (******ive) payments as loyal customers (remaining in trust of a signed business contract) - are actually paying for a lesser service.

And SO, THIS is NOW my FINAL attempt to gracefully REQUEST fair business practice from VOX Telecom >> asking that you actually follow through in the name of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE and return all my payments and fairly credit each and every month - since I started service (over 2 years ago) plus interest.

To be honest, I feel that I am due a whole lot more compensation in the name of fairness and due customer service. Like for next two years of FREE SERVICE!!!!!

I am not a vendictive infividual - but am COMPLETELY FED UP WITH THE SITUATION, and depending on the results in this my final request (to peacefully resolve Vox's misdeed) - I will simply have no choice but to seek legal representation and take every step to warn the public, gain feedback from other similar clients and consider a ckass action suite; AND with the power of the MANY social networking environments publish the facts of my experience. The fallout of which, I am sure will end up costing Vox a great deal more, not only from a Consumer and Business Protection point of view, but also in legal penalties in recourse for false advertising, ***** and public credence!

It is a great shame because I have worked with many VoX employees whom have tried to assist me. And as a single entity I have brought VoX a number of clients with new business referrals at every opportunity. But still their customer care is negated.

Looking at the terrible reviews online - I sincerely hope VoX SERIOUSLY starts addressing their behavior - taking due care and heedance to rectify their public status.

I am by no means afraid to take my issues to all and every entity to see some fair compensation and URGE the powers that be to PLEASE resolve my issues.

The time is now! My patience has now finally come to an end!!!!!

Sincerely Yours

ANTHONY. capetown

Good Day Vox Telecom; Let me see, where are we now >> Almost July, (since first posting here on March 28) and my concerns still have not been resolved. Can anyone please give me some ETA's? ----------- AND one more THING... ⚠️MY DESIRE and NEED FOR 24/7 INTERNET CONNECTIVITY (ie: 99% uptime) is IMPERATIVE and NON-NEGOTIABLE for my household!!! ? UNFORTUNATELY - (as yet AGAIN is the current STATE of service TODAY), my Vox fibre link is COMPLETELY UNAVAILABLE!!! ? THUS, (as has been the ongoing requirement, since first installing FTTH at my apartment) I have had to permanently maintain two 40Mbps vDSL lines (+ related vDSL bandwidth packages, as provided by Telkom), in parallel as a FAI*****" option (an ADDITIONAL EXPENSE, that I should have been able to discard by now). ℹSince inception of my Vox FTTH solution - ACTUAL fibre Internet availability, TOTALs at about 51% of the entire time. ? I am no longer interested in paying for vDSL connectivity, and will have these services cancelled at the end of June 2018. IN THE NAME OF CUSTOMER CARE and COURTESY, I was hoping that Vox would possibly condider giving me peace of mind, and hopefully a fai***** facility that I ought not need to use continually. The only likely option to vDSL is LTE-A mobile data connectivity. ? Now, along with my extreme patience and continued support of Vox, possibly managenent would KINDLY consider providing me with a free LTEA-Huawei B618 router and free service (similar to that offered here: https://www.vox.co.za/mobile/lte-a/?prod=HOME) that I could integrate as a FAI***** option into my existing FTTH network. Please would you kindly consider the above, as it would certainly
