A client focused business or just another company out to draw every sent from your pocket. I am leaning toward the latter
Its almost unbelievable at how bad my service and interaction has been with Vox Telecom. My mouth is hanging open. On initial engagement I explicitly informed the sales consultant that I will be relocating. I asked if there will be charges for this. I was given a definite NO. It is not a cancellation but a relocation so there will be no charges. When I changed residence I received an invoice, I queried it with the sales consultant and then after some time confirmed telephonically and on email that because the fault was his, he will pay R1000 out of pocket.
Now it comes to light that the sales consultant bended the truth and that he actually requested a credit from Vox.
After many enquiries and request for an explanation why over R4000 was attempted to be deducted from my bank account, I finally got the below response.: "Emile Philander Attachments 10:38 AM (6 hours ago) to ***ne, Ivor, me
Hi Zandre ,
Please see below a breakdown of where we are with your account and billing :
There are 3 aspects that we deal with
Service Move : The move of services , necessitates that we had to cancel your services at your “old address” The above services where less than 12 months and Vox was billed the full cancellation form Vuma and we then passed on this fee to you. The amount here is R2732.77 Both Bradly and I have tried to get this number reduced but have not been able to do so . This fee is what Vox Pays , Vumatel upfront for the installation of Fibre. On your quote is reflects as a R0.00 , but the cost and implication of the cancellation is contained in the contract T&C’s Cancellation Period – June Billing Old Service The cancellation period is 30 days , This would be from the 1st of each month ( this meaning that internally we need to log this before the 1st day of the month) Your cancellation was logged on the 3rd of May , ( After the cut-off date) and thus attracts another month of billing , June was then billed ( Old Services) , This service now terminates at the end of June Current Billing Your New Services has been activated and currently billing
The accumulate cost : is then
R2732.77 ( Cancellation)
R699.00 ( June Billing – Old Service)
R834.28 ( June Billing – New Services)
R35.00 ( debit order rejection charge)
R4301,36 ( Current outstanding) , Please see statement attached
I truly hope that this clarifies .
Below listed is my contact number/s , mobile always the better option should you have any other questions related .
Regards

Thank you for the prompt response.
I will only pay R1556 which was agreed between you/ myself and Bradley (if i remember correctly, you were part of that agreement.
NO MORE.
I urge to reconsider your response from a business pespective.
If Vox is not willing to clear the remaing balance,Then i will have to search for another provider.
And note. I will only pay what i agreed to. And then move on to another service provider. If Vox is going to demand that i pay the balance , i will escalate the matter to the appropriate institutions.
As for the "LATE cancellation notification." as you call it. Vox was made aware months before the close off date. Of my relocation.
