******* Prepaid Meter D120KP

My prepaid meter decided to give up this morning, in spite of there being enough units bought. We have no electricity for 5 hours now...so much for working from home. City Power are useless as always as they promised service within 4 hours which is now past.

Voltex, please help to resolve the issue of the faulty / broken D120KP meter. We cannot go on without electricity.

This Voltex meter contract at CoJ needs to be investigated as the previous brand of meters worked perfectly.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately Voltex supplies this useless meter and the equally useless City Power chooses to use the meter which they cannot maintain.

Please supply me with a manual for this piece of ******* so that we can try to figure out the problem.

I’m without electricity for almost 24 hours which City Power said would be rectified within 4 hours.

Somebody needs to assist. You can’t provide a product and not provide service afterwards. It’s easy to say that your contract is over with City Power and do nothing to assist customers. It is still your product.

Good day Rajesh

Up until 2019, Voltex was contracted by City Power to maintain all Voltex branded meters in the field.  Once that contract was terminated, Voltex was no longer permitted to carry out any work on City Power meters.  Whilst we would love to assist you, we are contractually bound by our agreement, and as such, your only avenue of recourse is directly with City Power.  Any interference by us could be construed by City Power as potentially a ******** or civil offence and, we whilst we regret to find ourselves in this position, we are duty bound to meet our legal obligations.
