On 28/06/2022 I bought Ritar Battery Lead Acid 6cell 12V 200AH RA12-200 for my home solar system at Voltex Electrical Centre West Rand. The batteries were connected to the inventor on 27/06/2022. They worked well for 3months instead of 5 years as promised. I sent the batteries back to the shop and Wayne who was assisting me said some customers have returned the same type of batteries. He said they will send the batteries back to the manufacturer for testing and they will contact me. In the interim I bought new Lithium batteries for R18 000 from the same company. I called Wayne several times for the whole 2 months and only on the 22nd December 2022 I went there and received a list of these requirements(1. Installation date & date of invoice 2. Application , i.e. Backup/5SS system 3. Images of failed batteries 4. Inverter paired to the batteries 5. Charge voltage and charge current parameters of the inverter/charger. (all the inverter settings) 6. COC 7. Photos of installation. 8. An actual confirmation of the load consumption) which they needed and I was told nothing about initially and couldn't provide because I had already bought new batteries. All I need now is a refund for my batteries.
