6 months - still no solar installed by Voltex Hoedspruit

I secured a bond extension from ABSA for R237,005.29 to install solar on a farm in Hoedspruit. ABSA insisted I use one of their "preferred" solar providers in the area whom they "trust". This turned out to be VOLTEX.

I received a quote from VOLTEX and the re-mortgage was approved by ABSA who paid me out the funds. VOLTEX requested I pay them out the necessary the funds ~80% for them to secure the equipment. I paid VOLTEX out the funds on 21/05/2024.

We are now on 02/01/2025 and I still do not have working solar on the farm. The contractor VOLTEX are using has over the past 5-6 months made a plethora of promises that they will complete the installation shortly, but never show up. The complaints made to VOLTEX about this do not result to anything. The complaints I have made to ABSA regarding the above also result to nothing.

At this point I have been cheated, **** to and made a fool of by both ABSA and VOLTEX Hoedspruit. I have now given up with VOLTEX - they must come and take down the little they have done and give me my money back. They should also pay the additional bond fees of R3000 per month that I have had to pay to ABSA since June. ABSA will continue to shrug their shoulders about the ordeal - so I will need to move my bond to another bank.
