Refunds are a joke and money making ****!

I stood at the front counter and paid for 4 sets of curtains to the value of R5600. Then they realised that they don't have stock and would refund me. This all looked very efficient and they were very friendly............. I called them today to say the refund is still not back in my account and the answer is "7 - 14 working days". So for an error on THEIR part for not checking stock first they then make me wait for R5 600 to get back into my account. Is this fair that I am out of pocket for an error or inefficiency on their part for 7 - 14 working days? Nope it is not. If I returned something then I could accept this but not when the error is totally and fully their fault, why must I wait this long???????
