Worst customer service from VW The Glen
VW The Glen is very consistent in providing bad customer service. I drive a Golf7 GTi that was taken into the dealership to have the battery replaced. In the time my car was there the inside of my passenger door panel was damaged. The Service Manager Bridgette assured me she would investigate the matter and revert back to me which never happened. I left messages for her for 3 consecutive days to which there was no response. I then tried speaking to the dealer principal Paul and left a message for him to which there was also no response. I eventually got a call from a service consultant Jonathan a week later to advise that they were still trying to make a decision as to whether the panel was to be repaired or replaced. Upon insisting that I wanted a replacement I was again promised a follow up call which didn't happen. Week 2: I had to call back 5 times looking for someone who could help and eventually Bridgette called back to say that they would the part and she would call back by COB to advise by when the part would be ready, that once again didn't happen. Jonathan called back the next day to advise the part was ordered and it would arrive between the next 8 to 10 days! Saying that their service is pathetic is an understatement. How they are still in business completely baffles me. This is by far the worst VW dealership I have ever come across. They dont readily accept responsibility and not interested in keeping their customers informed. They have no regard for honesty when they've messed up otherwise I would've been told upfront that they damaged my car. Who do I go to ,to get this sorted out.... no one actually cares!
