When you get told by a VW Dealer Principle that a vehicle has a warranty as it is meant to break!

It maybe assoiciated to the Manufacture Brand in spcific or the Dealer, VW Strydom Park and its poor Leadership.

When a Dealer Principle shoves off a customer by saying "if you can not demonstrate the problem I can not assist you" or when you are told " the clutch has to break for it to be fixed" when a problem is reported at 22 000ks, you have EVERY reason to wander if VW is the vehicle you would purchase, or is it just the service provided by the brand ambassodors which do not live up to the Service VW SA proclaims to provide which apparently sents them apart from the rest???

My vehicle went in for a problem which occurs irractly, a voice not of the fault was once captured to allow the Dealer to hear what I heard, to ensure that the customer would not be told .. you are imagining!

I was then told this is why warranties are in place. Mind you this problem arose at approx 16 000ks. Which customer wants to be inconvinienced in brining back a new car purchased, which is suppose to be reliable!

If that was the case, I should have invested in a used car and forsaw and prepared for these issues

SO VW SA please comment, do you sell vehicles to the market with the intention of it breaking at 22 000ks?

The vehicle was a demo which had its brake discs replaced at 15 000k due to how it was previously driven, so think twice about purchasing a demo, it went in for a diagonostic test last week and I was told the problems were fixed ! a week later at random the noises began.

When Brett the Dealer Principle at Strdom Park VW was called he took NO initiative to assist, it is no fault of mine as a customer that I can not demonstrate the problem on the car as it occurs randomly!!!!!! Needless to say, he at no point suggested speaking to his team who had the car in to resolve the problem. Instead, when I mentioned calling VW SA, the Dealer Principle, who is suppose to do his utmost to avoid brand damage said to me " yes please do so, and when you call them and they know how to fix the problem, let me know"!!!!!!!!!

PATHETIC! VW you have an AWESOME Brand Ambassodor, whose leading a team.

It does not stop there, a few years ago VW SA took a national Call Centre Award, I am trying to understand howso.

My complaint was logged with Alisha at the Call Centre, who was very sympathetic to my issue on 08/07/2016.

I was told feedback will be provided within 24 hours! no call recieved!!!!!! No wander

A shove off attitude from a Dealer Principle damages brand reputation as word of mouth is 100 times worse ! Clearly he does not have the brand or customer at heart.

The Call Centre is in place to field calls, with clearly, no commitment to turnaround time and contributes to damaging brand reputation.

Think twice before purchaing a VW from Strydom Park Gauteng!
