We remain at the mercy of some motor manufaturers

Over the lifespan of this VW Jetta 1.6 Tdi I bought in August 2014, I encountered the following technical problems: <br> 1) Vehicle starts jerking and loose engine power when traveling long distances. When you turn off the ignition and switch it back on the problem is gone and reappears later. This goes along with the engine light switching on. In addition the tyre pressure warning light or the coil light comes on. The display also reflects an exclamation mark<br> <br> 2)Fuel gauge does not function accurately. It moves. In a video clip I made it moved over a period of 2 minutes 33 sec on approximately 20 occasions<br> <br> 3)Front fog lights. Contains moisture. VW indicated verbally they do not attend to this problem if the moisture disappears when the lights are in operation for 30 minutes . They tested it for 45 minutes and it did not disappear. A new excuse was offered and nothing done.<br> <br> In respect of item 1 I have been to VW on 7 occasions to have this repaired, in respect of item 2, on 3 occasions. The problems persist and I will have the inconvenience to continue getting them to fix the vehicle<br>
