VWSA poor response to client complaint

Having driven cars with electric windows for years. Specifically VW's, I was disappointed when I took the 2018 Polo into my local dealer as the electric window switch wasn't operating as it should be. I was informed that the bracket that holds the switch is broken and I must have "pressed the button too hard". As if I don't know how a switch works. My other car is a 2014 model VW that also has electric windows and that has never had issues in all the years I have had it but now all of a sudden, on a new car, I don't know how to press a button and have broken it. I took this up with VWSA only to be informed that they have spoken to the dealer and they stand by their decision that I broke the switch and as such it cant be repaired under the warranty. If that is how they support loyal supporters of the brand I would rather start buying something different. Why would I break a new cars switch through excessive force if I have driven everything from a VW Polo, Jetta, Passat, CC, Scriroco and even Amarok without any issues at all. Extremely disappointing
