VWSA blatantly ignores relevant issues
My local VW Dealer, Autohaus Centurion could not fix intermittent problems on my VW Tiguan for more than a year. Running out of patience, I approached VWSA to set up a meeting with their after sales Manager, Johnathan Hufkie, together with Autohaus Centurion's Manager, Hannes v d Westhuizen - specifically to resolve these long outstanding problems. Despite being inconvenienced for more than a year, Mr Hufkie took more than a month to set up the meeting - hopefully to prepare for the meeting.
How wrong I was. Hufkie arrived totally unprepared, did not have a clue about the problems (despite having received the many correspondence between me and Autohaus). As a result, the meeting did not proceed - a total waste of time and totally unproductive.
I then reported his poor performance to his employer, VWSA, who initially seem to take a sincere interest in one of their customer's complaints - me.
The response I received from VWSA was like comparing chalk with cheese - again totally irrelevant to what the real issues were.
VWSA basically distances themselves from their dealer's claiming that they are independent. No word from them re their after sales Manager's conduct. Unbelievable!
