VWSA and VW Barons Bellville

I bought a brand new VW Golf 8 GTI from VW Barons Bellville. The vehicle started with its problems only at 35km. I mentioned to them that they told me to switch off the vehicle, get out, lock it, and get in again and see if the lights inside stop flashing and the sunroof works. I did that and the vehicle was fine for another 30km and did the same.

The vehicle then gave me a front assist limited error. Mentioned it to them and they told me that its a current issue.

The vehicle then kept on giving me fault codes until one morning the engine light came on and the stop start didnt work.

I took the vehicle in to them and they told me there arent any fault codes. But i had a second opinion and there was more than 48 fault codes on the car.

I then took the car in. They told me the issues are battery or current related. Then they told me it is my tracker. They removed my tracker and the faults just came back again.

I then took the car back again and they said they need to remove my ECU. And that the ECU is the problem.

In the meantime the car started losing power. It has a timing chain noise.

I wanted to cancel the deal and they just keep telling me they have rights. They now want to trade my car in and we cant get financing on another vehicle without a shortfall and R150 000 plus deposit.

How is this even possible? Its a new car. The car is faulty and they know this but they rather want to put me in more debt than to help.

They - VW BARONS BELLVILLE AND VWFS - are pathetic. Their after sales are no good and they dont want to help.

I will be taking this to the media. My attorney and the ombudsman
