VW unable to sell me parts on a 5 year old vehicle - pathetic!!!

I bought a new Polo Maxx in April 2017. Unfortunately a cover was recently ****** of my vehicle, and now VW SA can't sell me a new cover, this is on a vehicle that is just short of five years old. Where is the backup service that VW SA promotes to lure customers into buying their products??? They can't even supply a plastic cover!

VW, never again...you've just lost a customer over a piece of plastic!
