VW Tavcor George
I brought my Vw Golf Mk7 in for clutch replacement at VW Tavcor in George, last week 20 October 2021 I received the car back I drove back home to Oudtshoorn when I got home and got out of the car, I smelled oil but thought its just the smell after the clutch was replaced and because it was new. The next day 21 October 2021, I was on my way to Laingsburg about 40km from Laingsburg on the N2 I start hearing a knocking noise coming from underneath the car I pulled over at the nearest rest stop which was 7km ahead. I jacked the car up and saw oil everywhere underneath the car, oil was all over the engen cover and I saw the clips of the engen cover slipped out. I got a roadside assistance after 6hours, Vw Tavcor George only rep**** on mail telling me I must bring the car in to check what the issue was, I had to get a towing company to take the car back home and the next day 22 October 2021 to VW Tavcor George, they checked the car and told me the oil came from my intake and that the seals need to be replaced, I got it replaced the same day. This morning 25 October 2021 I brought the car back to VW Tavcor George told them that there is still something wrong, when the car shifts down when coming to a robot or stop sign, then there is a jerk on the car as its shifts down, they told me they can't check the car that they are full and busy I must come back I asked for a time they couldn't give me, I came from Oudtshoorn to George which is an expense for me to bring the car back for a problem to get check but wasn't willing to assist with a comeback.
