VW targets young ladies and then ROBS them

I am writing this today with deep disappointment in the VW group of S.A. This review points out that Volkswagen of South Africa are indeed ******* and are only here to rob us of our hard-earned money.

My matter has to relate to Vw financial services and their conduct in which they break the law.

I unfortunately due to Covid has lost my job last year November and was not able to keep up with my car payments. I had only missed Nov, Dec, and Jan. At the end of January, I was contacted by Allister Gilbert who works in the collections department for VWFS. He advised that I am behind and owing etc. I explained the situation and paid the last R2000 in my account to VWFS.

Allister advised me that I need to pay my arrears and I told him that I am unemployed and as soon as employment comes my way I will pay extra etc.

At the end of February I managed to gather R3000 ( POP emailed to Allister) and I paid directly into the VWFS banking account I tried to contact Allister but he refused to return my calls or communicate with me via email etc. On the 12th of March, 2 random guys appeared at my house stating they are from VWFS to collect my car due to non-payment. According to my understanding of the law, this was not legal as there was no formal communication regarding my repossession of any of that sort. The 2 guys refused to give me paperwork or identification and shortly disappeared after threatening me with court orders.

I immediately tried calling Allister but still, he refuses to take my calls and gets his colleagues to tell me he is in a meeting. I spoke to Evette who works in the same department and she tells me it's the first time she has heard of such being a collection agent and strongly advised me not to give my car to anybody without a court order! I advised her I am making payments and she advised me that is all that matters.

a week later still no contact from Allister and he still refuses to call me back. on the 23rd of March another set of guys appeared at my home stating the same thing that Allister gave the order for my vehicle, I presented my proof of payments to the guys, and they stated they have the order when I ask to see it or identification they became defensive and started threatening mine to my face! I have no identification of these guys only that Allister sent them. At the end of March, i have borrowed everywhere and paid my R3000.

I tried to get in contact with Allister's Manager whose name is: Belinda Bernard who does not return my call. Till today 8 April 2021, I am scared that my vehicle will be repossessed! VWFS is not transparent they are emotionally and mentally abusing me with the way they operate and need urgent assistance.

According to my attorneys, I am in the right as I have made my payments! VWFS will only torture you please do not finance with them or buy their brand as I am targeted for Being a young lady!
