VW T-CROSS
I bought a T-Cross in 2022 and had to trade it in in 2024 because it was giving me problems and no one wanted to for them. Then in 2024 I got another one and thought that my problems will be over, not knowing that I was getting myself into another one. I reside in Mahikeng and purchased one here at the Mahikeng dealership. The same problems I had with the first one are the ones I experienced a month ago. I was treated like a piece of **** and just next to nothing with men who are managers there. In August 05th 2026 at a mileage of 54 000, that car started, it didn't want to engage the gears, I was stuck on Mandela Drive with the kids inside taking them to school. They towed it in at the very same dealership, and later that week I was told that the problem is with the gearbox and now I have to pay 32k in order for them to get it fixed. Mind you, I'm still under warranty and up to date they have not provided me with anything that I can refer to regarding the warranty. I'm still without a car and am expected to keep on paying for it. I went to Absa for assistance and they told me that they can't help me since I don't have an extended warranty cover with them. Why would I take one whilst I'm still covered? Like, how? VW SA is of no assistance with regard to this and apparently I'm not the one with such a problem and from the same dealership.i no longer know what to do as I was written an email stating that I need to come pay for the car as they can't it at their premises anymore. Please, I need assistance. I was told that the problem was and is with the clutch plate and the warranty does not cover for it. But the problem that I have with them is that I do not know what is and what is not covered. And they cannot provide me with that.
