VW South Africa handbrake malfunction 2017 Tiguan

I am the owner of a 2017 VW Tiguan. I was involved in an accident in June 20 due to malfunction of the handbrake switch. The switch was automatically enabled while the car was in motion. Upon reporting the incident to VW, they conducted diagnostic testing which was sent to VW Germany for review and feedback. More than one month later there is no feedback from VW Germany. VW SA service is appalling and they are unable to give an ETA for when VW Germany will release testing feedback. In the interim, VWSA does refused to provide a courtesy vehicle, i am supposed to wait indefinitely. Each time I contact VWSA they say the matter is with Germany and nothing can be done further on their side. Shocking service!!!
