VW sold me a bad quality car

I have been a VW driver for more than 30 years and have bought about 20 VW's during that period. This makes my disappointment even greater. I bought a new VW Passat from Stellenbosch Volkswagen it is just over three years old and has 103000kms on the odometer. It has a perfect service record but it has had to have the pistons replaced, the multi clutches twice, the electronic injection control unit and the gearbox control unit amongst other repair. Now 3000 kms after my warranty expires I need to repair the gear box again and VW want me to pay for it. This is not the quality that I expect from any car manufacturer today let alone a VW. I can't even call this car a Uitenhage Monday morning car because it is fully imported. I am very disappointed that my relationship with VW should end like this and I felt that others should be warned. Stellenbosch VW try very hard but in this instance I have NOT been sold a quality car.
