VW Service - Gone Bad

On the 4thOctober 2016 I took my VW Polo to VW The Glen for its service which was then due. That same afternoon I took delivery of my vehicle I experienced problems with the vehicle when it started jerking on the freeway on my way home. The next morning I experienced the same problems and my vehicle came to a standstill at the East Rand Mall. I then phoned VW The Glen for assitance and they sent out a technician who had a look at my vehicle and told me that he could not detect the problem there and that the vehicle would have to be loaded on a flatbed and returned to VW The Glen for investigation. The technician further told me that the reason for my vehicle not running had nothing to do with the major service they had just completed. I doubted this response from the technician as I had never had problems with my vehicle before it went in for the service. I then called an independant technician for a second opinion who in turn took a look at my vehicle and told me that my computer box, sensors and plugs were flooded with water. This could only be as a result of the washing of the engine at the time of the service. The vehicle was then returned to VW The Glen on a flatbed. They then sent me 2 quotes one for R32393 to replace computer box etc. and one for R9998 to bypass the wiring on my electronic vehicle. I feel both these quotes to be unjust as I am convinced that the damage was done by VW The Glen themselves when they serviced my vehicle. I made numerous calls to both the dealer principle Roy Lynn and service manager Ronnie Cronje but both were extremely arrogant . I am currently without a vehicle for over a month and they refuse to give me a courtesy vehicle. I put a claim in with my insurers who then paid me. The insurers assessors finding was that the damage had been done by VW The Glen at the time of the service. My insurer then instituted legal action against VW The Glen. In the meantime I am trying to get my vehicle fixed by them and have offered to pay them cash for the repairs but they refuse to do any work on the vehicle. I am without a vehicle and feel disgusted at the poor level of service received from VW The Glen. My vehicle has been standing without any cover and exposed to all elements during this time.
