Crazy service.

I drop my car at a dealership.

1. They say they need to diagnose the car, for R7000 (before we know what to fix). Among the things to be checked they say they need to strip the injectors (VW doesn't fix injectors). Also need to check the timing belt (irrelevant to why the car was there). 2. I asked to see the diagnosis report from the OBD machine which I am paying to have done (R1800). Apparently it is their policy not to share reports, which I pay for them to do. 3. When I visit the dealership they suggest removing some items from the mountain of checks they will do, and only check what is necessary...sounds like an admission of guilt to me.

I am disappointed and can see why many of us are switching to the Chinese automakers.
