VW SA, VW Polokwane and VW Mokopane Poor service!

I bought my car in 2011, have been servicing it well. 2017 Nov, it reported an engine light (catalytic converter) and i took it to the dealership (VW Polokwane) the following morning where it was assessed the day after- they reported that the timing needed to be adjusted and the chain replaced, but that was not done, i was called to come and pick up my car and even after explaining my discomfort of driving the car in that condition i was told to keep driving it and return it after 1000km- they said they were doing an oil consumption test of which i had already mentioned i was topping up every 3000kms. I omly did about 300kms and the car got worse (but still drivable) while i was at Mokopane. VW Polokwane did not want to assist (with towing) yet they had said they will be liable should anything happen because they can't advice me to drive the car if they anticipate i might experience problems.

For two days the car was at my workplace in Mokopane, because i was hoping VW SA would assist, but they got back to me after 48hrs with no positive feedback. Via my insurance, the car was towed to VW Mokopane being the nearest delaership, where i was given a quote for a new engine without a formal report/diagnosis, which when i requested i was sent a small explanation via email of how it would be uneconomical to repair.

From timing adjustment issues to whole engine needing to be replaced??? Who must pay for that? I took my car when it reported fault, and i showed my discomfort in continuing to drive it, but i was advised by professionals to continue driving it.

Fast forward, the car remained at Mokopane until September 2018- there was an agreement that i coupd keep it there at no storage cost while i try and sort out the issues with Polokwane.

I was called to come and take the carvin September 2018- i indicated that i would be coming the following week.

When i went to collect the car it was no longer in a drivable condition. The manifold intake was disembled (no permission was obtained and at some point when polokwane indicated that if Mokopane had opened the car they would not want anything to do with it, Mokopane told me they had not opened the car. They are now saying they needed to open the car to give a better assessment(but remember i didn't even get an assesment just a new engine quotation). I then asked why they hadn't put it back together because they knew i was coming to collect it they still answered that they were waiting to hear whats the way forward.

Part of the reason the car couldn't move (apart from the battery being dead from not being in use for almost a year) was because the parts were disembled. Parts were also missing (we managed to notice the injectors were not there, the VW signs on the tyres, the jerk from the boot were just some of the few we could notice) Martin from Mokopane said he would sent wmail confirming the missing parts and how and when the parts would be replaced but he never did. I went back and spoke to the dealer principal as well, who said Martin must sort me out. I took the initiative to write Martin an email- he still has not responded.

I complained to VW SA and i was told Mokopane now says they will not replace the parts because my car was there for almost a year without storage charge and VW SA had no powers to instruct them otherwise. Days later VW SA called to say Mokopane says my injectors have always been there i must come and collect them. Where have they been?

I want my car put back to the condition it was in when i took it to VW Mokopane, with all the other missing parts. And i want someone responsible to answer me as to wether VW was right in the advice they provided.
