VW SA - Now that is how you retain a customer....UNBELIEVABLE service !!

Volkswagen - I need to officially tip my cap to you for what I can only describe as proper aftersales service....in light of my frustration and rant 10 days ago, I was contacted yesterday by Alex who represents the Office of the MD of VW SA. Alex took my details and listened to my entire story and as usual promised to get back to me today...truth be told I wasn't expecting to hear from him today or even this week, hell I would've been surprised if he got back to me in the new year.

Needless to say I missed his first call today as I was in a meeting, only to take his second attempt this afternoon, to which he gave me some tremendous news. VW SA have reviewed my case, taken into account what I had posted on social media, specifically Hello Peter and they have decided to cover the full cost of repair to my car. Not only have I received this in a confirmation email from Alex, but they have already instructed Barons Woodmead to order the parts and call me when they arrive for them to carry out the work at no charge to me.

As most of you know me I will be the first to humbly apologise, take back harsh things I have said and give credit where it is due...and today is one of those days. Not only have VW SA regained a loyal customer and supporter but they have validated what I have always said about the brand LEGENDARY, so I will categorically state I will not move away from VW....not now, not EVER and I want to personally thank Alex and those at VW SA for their gesture, you will never know the gratitude and appreciation I have BUT most importanly you now have an even bigger fan and loyal ambassador for life.
