VW's Terrible Service

I am the owner of a Polo 1.4 tsi (gti) 2014 model which is currently under a motor plan. the car was purchased at the glen branch of Volkswagen. The car was taken to the Strijdom Park Volkswagen branch for its 1st service on the 20/01/2015 and the service was satisfactory.

On the second service carried out on the 28/10/2015 the car was returned to me with the right headlight filled with water, I was assured that the water in the right headlight would go away when I drive the car, this was not the case and I returned the car on the 31/10/2015 at my own expense and had to make my own transport arrangements.

When the right head light was no longer working I got 2 orange emergency lights the first one was an (EPC) warning message and a Emissions Control Lamp message my car switched off in the middle of traffic and it started again a half an hour later. I informed VW Strijdom Park about the warning lights and they had requested to check the car, again at my own expense I had to drive there again. The technician had not ever heard of any such warning light so I had to inform them as per car manual what the warning light means.

The car was returned on the same day and the 2 warning light were then gone. I was happy with my car until recently the warning lights have returned. I was informed to take the car to the original dealership which is VW The Glen. I then took the car to VW The Glen on the 28/04/2016 and was assisted, my car spent the day there and once I picked it up everything seemed fine and I was finally satisfied.

A week later these emergency lights came back now I have to take the car back again at my own expense. VW's service to its clients is very disgusting and makes you regret as to why you bought a brand new car that is so problematic. The car has been taken in today the 18/05/2016 and after pleading for a resolution they have decided to take the car in to be fixed, they have not given me a car to move around with in the meantime and I am now stranded. I have been told that they have no cars to offer me and all cars are being used at the moment and I should see to my own transport needs. I have contacted the VW head office and have been sold the same story. This service is truly pathetic and as a loyal VW customer I feel very disappointed and let down. The car might only be ready within a week’s time, and in the mean time I cannot move from A to B

I would like feedback on the matter and a way forward as this is not the way to treat clients as I am feeling mistreated as client.

You may contact me on the following

Mobile Number - ***

Alternate Number - ***

E-mail Address - ***
