VW's Inferior service vsselling a superior service with no regard to peoples lives!!!!!!

I am truly disappoint and disgusted at the service rendered to myself and my family from VW.....

My car could not start on Saturday evening and I called the VW Roadside assist at 8:00pm , the service advise said he would get a dealership to come out and assist , he calls me at 8:30pm with a technician from VW Lenasia Suhuil and he says " he fears for his life and they do not come out and asset people in Eldorado Park and Soweto after 6pm , where does VW make this decision as I a female was with my 2 kids and if it was at the side of the highway on Soweto what regard do they have for my life???????? he wants them to tow me 10km to the dealership right past my house as I was only 5km from home so he can boost me?????????? where is the sense in this!!!! the agent then tries Soweto VW and he speaks to Goodwill the service manage at 9 who agrees t assist me and send out a technician, at 9:30pm Lerato from VW calls as she has now taken over from her colleague and ironically she can’t get hold of the VW Soweto service manage, she then asks if she can assist by getting another technician as VW Lenasia fears for his life and cannot come out to assist still at this point????? Lerato then in turn calls at 11:30 pm and she is unable to find any dealership with the VW promised 100km to assist me at this hours!!!!!!! after struggling for 3.5hours we managed to start the car and move it to my house as if I had left it there and something happened this would have been another issue with insurance....... I eventually had my car towed the next day to Barons who sold me this car that has been nothing but issuing since purchasing it brand new and they changed the battery mind you the car is not even 2 years old!!!!

Below the promise, I im not happy and willing to spread the news as most family memebers has some form of comfort in this brand not worthy of our support as they ahve no regard for peoples lives at ALLL!!!!!! SA is full of crime and if you limitting service they you should limit who you selling your cars to as i wa snot informed that this was the case when i bought this car!!!!!!!

"If you require roadside assistance as a result of a mechanical or electrical breakdown, all you have to do is contact Volkswagen Alert and inform the Volkswagen Alert representative about the situation at hand. Your vehicle model and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)/Chassis number will be required. This can be found on the passenger side of your vehicle’s dashboard and can be seen from outside the vehicle through the window.

If you have a breakdown within 100km of your normal place of residence, and the vehicle cannot be repaired at the point of the breakdown to render it mobile, Volkswagen Alert provides courtesy transport for one address within 100km of the breakdown and will pay for the vehicle to be collected and repaired at the Volkswagen Dealership located closest to where the breakdown occurred.

When the breakdown has occurred further than 100km from your place of residence, Volkswagen Alert will arrange and pay to collect your vehicle and return it to your closest Volkswagen Dealer after it has been repaired. Volkswagen Alert will also arrange and pay for the safe storage of your vehicle, should the breakdown occur outside of Dealer operating hours. In which case as the vehicle owner, you have the option of either having Volkswagen Alert pay for hotel accommodation or for a car rental."
