VW promise not lived up to -thanks for nothing

I had taken my car for service on the 22/11/2017 and I was informed of additional work required (nothing about my boot latch needing work- mind you it was working when the vehicle was dropped off). I went to collect my vehicle on the morning of the 23/11/2017 and when I tried to open my boot to put my belongings in the car. a strange sound came boot and I informed one off the employees and she went to get one of the technicians (he came and wasn't of great assistance as he observed and said its the boot latch walking away from us- he just dismissed us). Leigh then advised that she can get a quote for the part and spoke to the head foreman of the workshop whom said they can replace it at the part charge. Nothing further explained and to be just dismissed like that with no regard. from a loyal client to be unfairly treated. Even called and still no sensible assistance. truly disappointed
