VW Polo Front Discs. 3rd set at 22 000km

I purchased a brand new VW Polo from The Glen VW for my wife. This VW Polo required new discs at 10 000km due to a break shudder, a defect that was accepted and supposedly rectified and the cost was carried by VW. The vehicle has now done 22 000 km and requires another new set of front discs again due to the very same problem. VW The Glen said that this was again a disc defect and motivated that the repair was paid for by VW. The Glen VW kept the car for 2 days while The Glen VW resolved this with VW SA. VW SA has rejected this saying that the vehicle is out of warranty. Neither of my wife's two previous cars (Toyota Corollas) had any brake problems. <br> Three sets of discs and one set of brake pads. The service manager told me that the brake pads are still only half worn!<br> A problem that has been identified during the warranty period should again be rectified by the manufacturer irrespective of the warranty expiring. If you do an internet search you will find many VW Polo drivers complaining about exactly the same issue. I also find it unacceptable that the dealer from whom I purchased the vehicle and who services and maintains the vehicle is hiding behind VW SA.
