VW Jetta 5 Roof upholstry falling down

As discussed with your the VW consultant on 16 February 2015:<br> The inside hood-lining (interior upholstry) is starting to fall down although I have mostly parked the car inside a garage during the day and overnight. The car is in very good condition- interior and exterior except for this particular problem that has started to develop in the last month.The lining starts to pull away from the corners and then forms big bubbles. The tension eventually cause it to disengage from the panels . At the front light cluster it has completely came loose. I tried to glue the corners that pulled away down again to no avail. As a mechanical engineer by training I have no doubt that this is a quality problem that is not acceptable for a 8 year old car that has been looked after very well.<br> Upon further investigation online I have found that this is a general problem with Jeatta 5's. Mcharty Auto trimmers in Durban says Golf/Jetta 5's come in all the time with this problem.<br> VW Consultant's reply on 19 February: As the car is out of warranty we wont do any repairs. <br> Verdict: If you have a Jetta 5 VW wont own up to low quality of the Roof lining assembly-- Dont buy VW
