VW faulty parts and Alan Hudson bad service
I bought a brand new Golf VII 2yrs ago. After 75000km they informed me that the clutch kit&fly wheel had to be replaced @a cost of R15000.
According to them these parts were not under warranty I had to pay for them myself. When you buy the car the salesperson assures u that u are paying for quality, but when there's a problem with parts they do not take responsibility for it.
The reason for the damage was blamed on my driving style. I am a medical representative and I have driven multiple cars including an Audi A3 and a VW polo for over 100 000km and had never had a problem with the clutch. I am disappointed, because I was told I am buying quality, but after only 70 000kms the clutch kit and fly wheel had to be replaced. Replacing these parts at this mileage is unheard of. Yesterday another VW of mine was booked for a service, because the previous day the technician established that the rear brake linings had 2 b replaced. After 2 hours I was informed that I must collect the car because they didn't have parts. They were aware of what the booking was for but didn't check if they have parts&caused an inconvenience in my work schedule.Advice on this would be appreciated
