VW Cuustomer DON'T Care Services.
VW CUSTOMER DON'T CARE SERVICE I bought a brand new VW Polo Confort Line 1.6 in August 2019. Three months after, there were problems with the saddle shocks we waited for one month whilst they sourced parts from India, Customer don't care service were unapologetic as they were fixing the car and meeting the legal requirements of the warranty. Some time later, there were problems with the front wheel bearings. This was 'fixed' but it took two weeks to repair and we were without a car. In February 2021, the problem reoccurred but the dealership ensured us that the car was safe to drive as we were relocating from Durban to Johannesburg. We drove the car to Johannesburg and was told by the dealer here, that the car was a 'death trap' and should never have been driven. It was again fixed in Johannesburg - the same wheel bearing problem. After a service last week (11 000km) the car broke down and needed to be towed. This car has just reached the two year milestone. VW Customer don't care services are adamant that they are meeting the legal requirements and that we have no grounds for any recourse or good will (as in an extended warranty). Future VW buyers - just be aware. Fight at the first sign of trouble. Our mistake was taking the car back after the first problem.
