VW conned me or is it *****

<p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">In my view VW Strydom Park and their sub-contractor Star Break are committing *****.</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">I have found it strange that most times my car goes in for a service I get a call to have chips on my windscreen repaired. For ease and speed I always say yes, but it has alarmed me.</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">Last month I had a brand new windscreen put in on the afternoon of 11 April. <br /> I booked my car in on 12 April and it still had the tape on the new windscreen. As I thought I had the call to say that I had 3 chips than need to be fixed. I asked for this to be confirmed and was told that it is an accurate ***essment. I went into VW and asked to see the chips. There were NO chips at all on my brand new windscreen.</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">How often have I been conned? How many people a day are being conned at VW?</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">I told the VW manager this and he promised me a free car wash. This was not even done!!!!</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">The next day I complained again and was told that the service provider has been suspended with immediate effect.</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">Today I called and asked who VW recommend for windscreens and was told me that Star Break who have been doing their windscreens for a “long-long time” are their preferred supplier and are still on site doing “repairs: in the mornings.</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">I called Star Break who confirmed that they still do windscreen “repairs” for VW.</span></p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA">How insulting. I am ripped conned by VW and StarBreak. I am given a free car wash in return that does not happen. I am told that the contract with StarBreak is terminated when it is not.</span></p> <p> </p> <p cl***="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-ZA" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">I am insulted by the fact that they trivialised this by pretending to take remedial action and obviously did not think that this ***** and *******ion warrants any action at all.</span></p>
