Vw barons Durban poor service

I sadly would like to share my experience regarding the level of service I received from barons vw Durban on the 05/02/2019.i noticed when driving home that my steering is not straight. This was a brand new vehicle I purchased from vw so the only reason I said yes to do the balancing and alignment because they said it was a requirement. My steering was perfectly straight from factory before I gave them my vehicle for its yearly service, but it seemed like I paid vw to mess my steering up. I had asked for a copy of my invoice which they gave to me and I had also notice below it read (battery faulty) a week after the service so I decided to go to vw on a Saturday around 12h45. Spoke to a guy named cliffy who was very rude and said the alignment guys are gone home and couldn't explain the battery fault on the invoice and I must phone before I bring the car . The service advisor did not advise me about the battery fault upon collection of the vehicle. I also noticed greese stains on the cream hoodlining. But worst of all during the weekend about to come home from the movies my car refuse to start. My insurance company sent a technician/towing company to help. They had to charge my battery and start my vehicle. I am utterly disgusted with the service from barons as the battery could have been changed especially after knowing it was faulty. My family and I could have gotten ****** or ****ed that night and 1 had my one year old in the car. One would think as vw agent their s****s and services would be great but sadly not all branches give the same quality service. We pay for all these checks and warranties yet they do not care and bring shame, vw as a group. Vw is most likely to loose me as a customer as I'm looking to upgrade in a years time. I even spoke to kessie the service manager who was going to get back to me but did not. I loved vw but now I have lost all faith in the brand sadly

Vw barons refused to replace the battery. Dealer principal Shane says the battery is OK and says if I have the battery problem again I should contact roadside assistance. The car refused to start a week after twice in the evening. I opened up a complain to vw sa but they still have not come up with a solution. They are willing to put my family n I at risk knowing there is a fault on the vehicle. Guess it's time to go back to my previous car manufacturer.. Vw warranty service with barons dealership has become a nightmare
