VW AMAROK BATTERY RUNS ON LUCK

<p>I purchased a new Amorok diesel bakkie D/C in 2014 January, recently the battery just died on me while on the road. The next few days I drove to a nearby VW dealer where I was told to purchase a new battery! The car is not even 3 years old despite having driven 104k mileage. The dealer could only affirm battery last longer than 3 yrs if I am LUCKY!</p>
